1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using Nexora, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you use Nexora for a college, school, club, event or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.

If you cannot legally agree to these terms on your own, a parent, guardian or authorised institution representative must approve your use.

2. Accounts and roles

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised access.

Nexora separates team-member and event-manager accounts. The role chosen at signup controls which dashboard the account may use and is locked to reduce accidental access to the wrong workspace.

You must be 18 or older to create an account independently. A younger participant may join only through an institution-managed programme where the institution has obtained the parent or guardian authorisation required for that participant.

3. Team and event workspaces

Team workspaces may contain tasks, messages, project records, meeting notes, finance records, mentor feedback and files or links added by users. Event workspaces receive a separate operational view.

Event organisers can choose whether redacted progress reporting is compulsory for their event or requires each team’s voluntary approval. This setting does not give an organiser access to private team messages, files, finance records or internal notes.

4. Event rosters and invitations

An organiser who uploads a roster confirms that it is accurate and that the organiser is authorised to provide the listed names, email addresses, institutions and team details for running the event. Organisers must not upload unrelated mailing lists or data obtained without a valid purpose.

Invitation and claim links are private. Do not publish them or forward them to anyone other than the intended participant.

Re-uploading a roster uses merge behaviour: matching teams may be updated and new teams may be added, while a claimed workspace and its work are not silently replaced. Organisers should keep a stable external team ID in later roster exports and review membership changes before removing anyone’s access.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add. You give Nexora a limited permission to host, process, copy and display that content only as needed to operate, protect and improve the service.

You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload your content. Public project pages are published by the team. A team can unpublish its page; links already copied elsewhere may still exist outside Nexora.

6. Service access and changes

Nexora may set reasonable usage limits, maintain the service, change features or stop an unsafe activity. We try to give notice before a material reduction in service where that is practical.

Google Analytics 4 is enabled by default on eligible customer-facing pages. Details about the limited information it receives and the routes Nexora excludes are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Features described as free can be used without a charge at the time they are offered. If paid features are introduced later, Nexora will show the price and ask for agreement before charging you.

7. Suspension and closure

Nexora may restrict or close an account that materially breaches these terms, creates a security risk, infringes another person’s rights or interferes with the service. You may stop using Nexora and request deletion through the data and account deletion page.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Nexora is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular competition result, academic credit, employment, funding or acceptance by an institution.

To the extent permitted by law, Nexora is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by applicable laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, contact us so we can try to resolve the matter. Any unresolved dispute may be brought before a court with competent jurisdiction in India.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the product or law changes. The effective date at the top will be revised. A material change will be communicated in the service or through the account email where reasonably possible.
